Lily Luna Potter was born on February 13th, 2006 to Harry and Ginerva Potter. She was the third and last child to the Potter family. As a baby, Lily was very vocal. Crying at all hours of the night and always wanting to be held in her mother’s arms. However she was a sweet baby, the apple of her father’s eye. After all she was the only girl. Being the center of attention for the next few years would take its toll on Lily’s older brothers, Albus and James, as it would any child. Having a new baby in the house wasn’t exactly what every older sibling wanted. It meant that all eyes were off of them and that they felt neglected. This put a bit of tension between the boys and their sister until she reached an age where she wasn’t dependent on their mother.
Growing up life seemed normal. Dad went off to work, mom stayed home and worked in her office and the children played either outside or quietly indoors for they were not to disturb their mother. Then when it was time for her farther to come home her mother would go off to something called ‘practice’. It wasn’t until Lily was the age of five did she learn that her family was different the some other families. While her family could do magic and what not there were others who couldn't do anything of the sort. Lily was informed that these type of people were called muggles. She always thought it was fascinating because she had something over someone else and it was amazing.
About a year later, Lily began to show signs on her magical abilities. While playing in her room with her toys she began to make up a little song. Humming it as loud as she could and making one of her dolls dance. During this the birds that hung on her mobile in her room started to tweet and fly around. This excited her parents a great deal for the simple fact that she was a bit behind her brothers in gaining her abilities.
At the age of seven Lily was allowed to go to her first Quidditch match that her mother was playing in. She sat in a box with her father and her brothers. Some more of her family tagged along too. The only real important one to Lily was Hugo. Hugo and Lily were the best of friends and got along extremely well. Whenever there was a family get-together the pair always made sure they had fun in one way or another, especially when it could involve a prank. And that was exactly what happened at the match. Lily and Hugo snuck off to the back of the box and pulled out a pack of Weasley Poppers. They were pretty much mini fireworks but gave a loud POP! when they went off. In the middle of the game they lit them and one by one they began to explode underneath the seats of their family members. Laughing, the two high fived one another while getting the attention on their parents. That’s when it all started. The pranking, the trouble, the fun.
Within the next few years Lily would see both her brothers and several of her cousins go off to Hogwarts. The first time she took her older brother, James, to Kings Cross station she wanted desperately to go as well. When she tried to run off after him her mother held a tighter grip on her hand. Ginny knew her daughter well for she was the same way when her brothers left for school. While the majority of her family was off learning spells and making friends with other magical beings Lily stayed behind and went to public school. At the age of nine; when she would sit at her desk and look out the window she imagined herself at Hogwarts learning all sorts of things, playing Quidditch and just having fun. It just wasn’t fair. For her, the next two years couldn’t come fast enough.
Finally it was time. One day while at home the post came by owl. Her father walked into the room and tossed a letter to Lily. It landed in her lap and the first thing she saw was the Hogwarts seal on the back of the envelope. Her face it up and she started to dance around the room. Her silly movements and random noises made her parents laugh and got the attention of her brothers from upstairs. Lily was going to be going to Hogwarts. After all that waiting it was happening. That weekend before they were to depart, her father took the children to Diagon Alley. Lily was fitted for her robes and got her books. As an early birthday present her father bought her a kitten which she named Odette. After buying everything she needed for school it was starting to finally sink in. It was almost time to go off to school. Almost time to figure out who she was meant to be for the rest of her life.
As the moment to get on the train grew nearer and nearer Lily’s excitement managed to bubble up to over whelming height. Arriving at the station was almost a train wreck, ha train wreck. Lily was constantly bothering her family to hurry up and move faster. It was getting rather annoying. When they came to the passage way to go to the platform, Lily stopped. She had never gone through before. Her eyes went wide as her brothers ran through but she just stood there. Her father nudged her and told her it would be alright. Three minutes passed which felt like hours before she actually went through the passage way. Her parents soon followed and Lily got swept away in everything that was to be the best time of her life. When she found Hugo they two automatically called sitting in the same compartment together so they wouldn’t have to sit awkwardly with someone else. The whole way there they only talked about what they thought it was going to be like.
Hogwarts was actually better then she expected and a lot larger then what her brothers and cousins described. Walking into the Great Hall made Lily extremely nervous. She stayed close to Hugo and continued to look at him to see if he was just as nervous as she was. When they came to a halt in the middle of the room to wait to be sorted, Lily could feel her stomach tie up in knots. They called her first. Hugo hugged her then she stumbled up onto the platform. The Sorting Hat shouted Gryffindor. Hugo was instantly excited and Lily gave him a thumbs up and hobbled over to the Gryffindor table. A few more people went after her and then finally Hugo's was called. When the hat screamed Ravenclaw and Lily jumped up and clapped for her cousin. At least they would be close seeing as both common rooms were in the towers. Now Lily didn't have to live without her partner in crime.
It wasn’t until Lily’s third year did things get interesting. Of course throughout her second year was when her pranking career really took off with Hugo as well as her detention record but during her third year Lily went out for the Quidditch team. At first Lily was a tad worried. They challenged her and put her through many test trying to figure out her strength and weaknesses. When the day was over they told the group that tried out that there would be a list posted the next day for all of those who made the cut and what position whether it was first or back up. Lily slept on it that night and didn’t think much of it. So the next morning she went to breakfast. As she sat, she had three people come running up to her saying congratulations. For the life of her she couldn’t figure out why she was being congratulated. Finally on the sixth person she asked. That’s when she found out she made the team. But not only did she make the team she was following her father’s footsteps and obtained the position of seeker. Lily immediately jumped up and ran out to the pitch. As she looked on the sheet plastered up on the wall she searched for her name. There it was. Lily Potter - Seeker. Accomplished was an understatement.
During her fourth year things seemed to calm down. Nothing really exciting happened besides winning a few Quidditch matches and pulling numerous pranks with Fred. That and getting scoured by Rose for pulling said pranks. But it wasn’t until the beginning of Lily’s fifth year did things start to ‘change’. People were treating her differently. Almost as if she was an adult and she was no long that awkward and annoying young girl she once was. But also, things seemed to be a little stricter and up tight at Hogwarts. As if they were in lockdown. And the new Headmaster doesn’t seem as caring and devoted as ones in the past. Something was up, and Lily wanted answers.[/ul][/size][/font]

distinguishing features: Obviously she is a girl so her ears are pierced. She has a few scars on her body. One serious one is from her first year at Hogwarts when she was learning to fly. She wasn't that high but she took a nasty fall which ended up sending her to the hospital wing. She had broken her arm and had various cuts and scrapes all around. The ones that were on her chin and left knee left behind permanent scars. The one on her chin is usually used for a conversation starter. She also has several other markings from Quidditch.
