If you knew the blonde, curly haired girl, you would wonder why she would be at the Quidditch Pitch. There was no broom in either of her hands, and she had no intention of summoning one either. Why then, would she be at the pitch? The answer is actually quite simple. The lake was quite crowded, and young Miss Tudor wanted someplace more quiet.
Sure, she could have headed into the Forbidden Forest, but that is where a great many number of students end up. While Evangalinna herself is not opposed to going into the forest, she was looking for something different. Life can sometimes seem repeated, especially when you have been in school for six years already.
Thus leads her to the pitch. Eva was a fan of Quidditch, has been since she saw her first game back in first year. She has even gone so far as to support a certain professional team, the Montrose Magpies. One would assume then, that she herself enjoyed playing Quidditch, and this is where you would be very wrong. You see, Eva is not even willing to sit on a broom for longer than she has to, as heights are a slight issue for her.
As she took a few more steps towards the center of the pitch her thoughts took her back to childhood, and she gently trailed her fingers over her right arm, folling the path of the scar there without even looking. She had wished that her fear of heights could be overcome. However, that was seemingly impossible. The picture of falling off a broom was not appealing to the girl, and thus she decided to take part in other, more land based activities.
The land based activity for that day was to enjoy some of the last rays of the sun before the weather turned cold. How was shegoing to do that you ask? Well, as soon as her feet stopped in a place that she thought would be good, she shed the outer layer of her school uniform, the cloak, and placed it down on the ground. Why she was still in her school uniform after classes were finished was beyond her, she just really did not feel like changing.
Eva placed herschool bag on the edge and then knelt down on the black material and m oved into a sitting position, taking her shoes off. Once this task was accomplished she opened her bag, took out her book, but placed it beside her. Instead of just opening her book like shenormallywould, Eva shimmied herself back a little bit, in a way so that most of her body would be protected fromt he cool grass beneath her, and lowered herself so as to look at the clouds. A small smile formed on her face as she did so, and she just sat watching the clouds, soaking up the rays of sun on every visible peice of skin.
