From the admins who brought you Wayward son, comes a brand new site

how things can be so different,
Yet t h e Same.
However, Dumbledore was wrong.
His spell had not killed Riddle, nor had it simply made him disappear. What it had done was to totally obliterate his physical body and send his (horocrux free) soul into a sort of limbo, but still in the earthly realm. Weakened and with no physical body, Riddle roamed for years looking for a way to make his return and enact his revenge....and now, through the help of a loyal Peter Petegrew, Voldemort has returned to a physical body.
It has been eleven years since the defeat of Riddle and he has been having nagging feelings that something is just not right. Some of these feelings take on a very real form when interviewing an odd looking woman to teach divination at Hogwarts.
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches ... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies ... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not ... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies ..."
Albus Dumbledore is not stupid, he knows a valid prophecy when he hears one, and this one in particular seems to speak to him more than most. But who could it pertain too? Doing his research, he finds more than a few that have bested Voldemort three times, but only two couples have had children that were born in July…..
Move forward to September 1991 and a young boy with untidy brown hair and glasses like his father is about to start his first year at Hogwarts. Next to him at the start of the year feast is a red haired boy eating everything in sight, and sitting across from him is a pudgy boy with a toad. James and Lily’s son Harry has entered his magical training with no idea that he was one of the two possible saviors to the wizarding world.
