Ever since he was a little kid, Jared had been smart. He learned how to read faster than his older sister. He learned how to write faster than her. He was always the most liked by his teachers when he started school, compared to his sister anyway. He had the best personality for making friends, and he still has that shining personality. He's nice to everyone, except for the people that he knows absolutely loathe him. He tried to give everyone a fair shot, but if they don't give him a fair shot, then that's too bad, they'll have to love him or leave him, and that was that.
In a couple of ways, Jared is quite the stubborn young man. He is very argumentative and can have a slight temper if something pisses him off enough, but that's not often. When he's arguing, he doesn't know how to let it go. He has to have the last say or else he won't stop talking. This happens often with his sister whenever they're at home for the holidays. He is also stubborn in other ways. If someone tells him to do something, he won't do it right away solely because he had to be told to do it.
He can also be quite awkward at times, mostly when he's around pretty girls that he's barely spoken to before. During these moments of awkwardness and strangeness, it is well known by his friends that he can not be serious. He jokes around to fill his awkwardness. It makes him comfortable. However, when it comes down to it, Jared is one of the nicest, most understanding and least pig-ish guys that you could know. He is a good friend and will sit there and listen to your problems, whether or not they involve him. He is a genuine guy and cares about everyone, whether he hates them or not. He will go out of his way to make people happy.

[/justify]Jacob has friends all over the place. Hell, if they were nice to him, he would even have friends in Slytherin. He is generally a nice person and knows when he's being annoying. His friends would have to understand his personality and how he acts and love him for it, no matter what. His friends would have to understand his awkwardness too, and the fact that he can be only be serious a handful of the time. Jared is normally the "class clown" type, except for in class. He doesn't fool around in class. Some might say that during school hours, he can be quite the stick in the mud. But outside of school hours, he likes to have fun. So if you're a person who likes to have fun, then they could be fast friends.

[/justify]Generally speaking, Jared is an easy going guy. He only hates people that give him a reason to hate them, or else they hate him first. He is a big-time grudge holder, so if you screwed him over in first year, then he still remembers it, whether or not you do. Mainly his enemies would be Slytherins, but there could also be some Hufflepuffs, seeing as that is Ravenclaw's biggest rivalry. He is a muggle-born, so you might be one of those people who didn't think he could do something because he wasn't from a magical family to begin with. Either way, unless you hate guys who are completely and totaly nice and caring, then Jared is pretty easy to get along with.

[/justify]Growing up, Jared was one of those nerdy kids that all girls steered clear of. When he came to Hogwarts, he changed his looks and personality, so some girls were starting to like him, which was all new for him. He kind of hid in the Ravenclaw tower up until his third year when he started to like the girls back and could even see himself dating a couple of them. So, he did. In his third year, he had his first relationship, and ever since then, he'd been a flirt. But, he can be a very loyal boyfriend. I could see girls liking him for his looks more than his personality. He has made out with a few girls that he didn't go out with. He's not one of those guys who sucks face with every girl he sees, though. It would have to be somebody that he liked. He is still a virgin though, so no sex for him until marriage, maybe.
